65As ebay.com is the most growing e-market in the world, millions of people around the world do their best to share a part of that market by offering good stuff and provide the best service for their clients but - as any market – there are some people try to cheat their clients thinking they can earn much money by fooling people and some of these people used to fool people with fake old Egyptian items.
When you go to Egyptian antiques section on ebay.com u can see many sellers offering too many ancient items but specialists know very Easley know that most of them are fakes and people get them from many stores in Egypt sells these items legally as Egyptian gifts and souvenirs.
Many people lost their money - hundreds and thousands of dollars - for fake items don’t cost the seller more than few dollars, some of them couldn’t even win these fake items as they were broken because of bad backing and shipping and most of all couldn’t get their money back as they pay through wired transfers and "western union" direct money transfer.
Many specialists are working hard to teach people how to know fake from real items as collector-antiquities.com and thefakebusters.com and some other sites that shows real and fake items and publish photos for fake items, faking process and also fake shops in Egypt.

fake! fake! fake!
these are very rare and as of now my father said that there are about 10 - 20 families who owns this in our village but this seller on ebay have many? have seen already sold 4 or 5 pcs. ha ha
and selling it cheap too - why because its fake!
genuine sells around 200k - 500k but this seller is selling them for only 35k-40k. stinky!
go to banaue and check fakes like this. they sell for 8k,10k, 15k. very like orig!
but inquire to any dealer of authentic and he/she will say 300k to 1m. some genuine with not good features sells low but it sells 100k above.
and this seller too...
and using our tribes name for their money-scam interest
claiming AUTHENTIC, buyers believed then they pay for worthless antique!
a sacred figure to us was being tainted due to these sellers. they are precious and not just sold without financial problem reason but these fakers made it look like our heritage is cheap!

I like fake Egyptian antiques. I could never afford a real one, but a fake would be fun. I once saw several supposed Egyptian antiques on EBay, and they had so many of the same pieces, that it was laughable.
